When not selling cupcakes from her new cupcake cart, House of Sweets owner Amanda Linton curates these monthly art shows in a 1950s-style diner. Themes have included hot rods, rockabilly chicks, summertime, huggable art, the sea and Halloween.
This month’s show is Gift It, a group art show and mini- art mart In addition to the show of hanging works, about 10 of the exhibiting artists will sell prints and other small, affordable pieces of art to ring in the holiday season. The artist roster includes Brigid Howard , Dennise Rodriguez, Erika Taguchi , Amanda Valdes, Rachel DeJohn, Adolfo Bacigalupo , Jessica Alvarez, Humble Bumble B, Migdalia Place, Tim Palmer, Eddie Mendieta, Jason Nugent, Kris Starry, Sara Leigh and Cary Polkovitz.
