I nearly forgot to post about the Spring Fling Indie Craft Bazaar. It started about 20 minutes ago and runs until 6 p.m. at Cinema Paradiso. The event will feature handmade, recycled, repurposed, vintage and vegan goods, all of which can be enjoyed with a little music, beer and food including Swanky’s Low ‘N Slow BBQ and vegan cupcakes. With more than 30 vendors, it could be the perfect spot for a little Mother’s Day shopping. It’s also just a good excuse to get out of the house on a Sunday afternoon. Admission is $3. Cinema Paradiso is at 503 S.E. Sixth St., Fort Lauderdale.
