More than 20 local artists will celebrate the 7 Deadly Sins tonight at the Lounge in West Palm Beach. At Art Nouveau’s 7 Deadly Sins show, each artist will exhibit work related to one of the Deadly Sins and sin name tags will be available at the door, so people can display their favorite sin with pride (which IS one of the deadly sins). Other sins, for those who aren’t up on their sins, include envy, greed, lust, gluttony, wrath and sloth. For the gluttonous, there will be food from Swanky’s BBQ (and veggie options too) and seven specialty sin drinks … and for the lust-driven, burlesque shows and live body painting. Curator Teresa Korber notes on the invitation that guests may also suffer the wrath of DJ Josh Daniel and feed their greed by purchasing art, jewelry or photography. But please note that the slothful people who stay home will not get name tags or be able to partake in any of the sinful fun.
