Bear and Bird Gallery in Lauderhill is having another “all locals welcome” show and it’s called Be There, Be Square. If you can drop-off and pick-up your artwork in person and on time, you’re local. Miami Independent Thinkers has announced its call to artists for its Art Basel 2010 Satellite Fair to be held at Casa Wynwood (a 7,200-square-foot interior and 14,000-square-feet exterior) at 2135 N.W. First Court, Miami. The four-day fair will feature local artists painters, photographers, filmmakers, sculptors, animators, writers, musicians, muralists, performance and new media artists, Dec 2-5 and include, live music, DJs, performance art, fashion and edibles from GastroPod. ArtServe will hold its annual exhibition to showcase the eclectic work of ArtServe members. Artists may submit up to two art works or five pieces of jewelry that were not in a previous ArtServe exhibit. No intake fee.Non-members can become members online at Artserve.org.
