Art, taxes and mojitos

urbanacc2If you’ve been meaning to stop into Grace Café and Galleries but haven’t yet, Thursday night would be a good time to do so. That’s when its next exhibition opens with wine, munchies, sculpture and paintings by Frederick Goldstein and steel and chrome sculptures by Stanley Goodman. It runs 6-10 p.m. Thursday at Grace Café and Galleries, 49 N. Federal Highway, Dania Beach. Call 954-816-3324.

Richard Davis and Howard Carter III, partners at R.S. Davis Financial Services, are going to make tax season less painful by hosting “Uncle Sam vs. Visual Artistry,” an art show featuring works by Hollywood artist Kapone (whose work is pictured here) and Miami artist Antonio Roberts, live painting, mojitos and munchables. The party is 5-7 p.m. Friday in the tax office at 1930 Harrison St., Suite 206, in Hollywood. The first 10 guests will received a signed poster from Kapone. Call 954-864-9973.
